I’m extremely excited about this issue! I know it’s been a while since the last issue, but We decided to take a short break in order to re-design the magazine and get it more focused around The Dead Sea, its endless holistic benefits, its incredible beauty on both ends and how We, at H&B Dead Sea Minerals, do our best to bring all that directly to your doorstep.But before we decided that, We decided to dramatically change the atmosphere and expose you to a different kind of Beauty – Fashion! In order to do it, we contacted colleges, institutes and universities with a well known Fashion Design program from NY, London, Paris and Milan and offered them a spot in the magazine, during the Fashion Week in their town, for their grads.
For unknown reason, none stepped up for the great opportunity to expose their students to countless readers from all over the world. Well, Except for a university in NY which asked to give them a better notice next time and they’ll be totally up for it – fair enough, we did contact them practically at the last minute 🙂
Anyway, I was just to give the whole project up when suddenly I were approached by the representatives of Polimoda, The International Institute for Fashion Design and Marking, a place which according to numerous sites is considered to be one of the top 50 fashion schools in the entire world. Now, how cool is that? I originally asked for 5 photos per each student, and their input on three phrases: “My Inspiration”, “My Fashion”, and to connect it to the magazine’s theme – “My Beauty Secret”. As you can see I put a lot more than 5 photos, plus their collection’s illustration. I gotta admit that i received more materials from them, such as their sketches, illustrations and even CVs, But I had to put a limit in order for the website to be able to function properly, but let me tell you, based on their sketches and their designs, I’m honored to take part in exposing this great group of incredibly talented, most gifted fashion artists!
